Long Island Man Located After Going Missing In Late October

A 27-year-old Long Island man who went missing late last month has been located.

Gontran Jacques, of Bay Shore, called his family on Monday, Oct. 28 at approximately noon to inform them that his plane landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, Suffolk County Police said. 

Jacques said he would be taking an Uber home to his residence, located on 2nd Ave. in Bay Shore. Jacques did not return home and his family reported him missing on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Suffolk County Police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 19 that Jacques has been located and is unharmed.

A 27-year-old Long Island man has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him.

Gontran Jacques, of Bay Shore, called his family on Monday, Oct. 28 at approximately noon to inform them that his plane landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, Suffolk County Police said. 

Jacques said he would be taking an Uber home to his residence, located on 2nd Ave. in Bay Shore. Jacques did not return home and his family reported him missing on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Jacques is Haitian, 6-foot-3, approximately 300 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information on Jacques’ location to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or 911.
